Where
can I hire ski/snowboard equipment from?
Upon arrival our ski technician will arrive with all your
pre-ordered equipment. He will personally fit everything for
each guest making sure that all the equipment fits perfectly.
What
time can we arrive at the Chalet on arrival day?
You can arrive any time after 10am, although the rooms will
not be ready until about 3pm as we have to clean the chalet.
What
time must we leave by on departure day?
You must be packed and out of your room by 9am so that we
can clean the chalet for the next guests! If you have an evening
flight, then we are happy for you to leave your bags in the
chalet and pick them up when youre ready to leave.
How
do we organise ski school?
You can pre-book your lessons with us if you already know
what you would like, or we have ski instructors who come to
the chalet on your first night that can give you good advice
on what would best suit you!

much is a lift pass?

Do
I need to take my passport to the Swiss resorts?
No, leave it safe in the chalet. There is no border control
in the Portes Du Soleil.
Do
I need to take Swiss money to the Swiss resorts?
You dont have to worry about changing up Swiss money.
All restaurants and bars on the Piste accept Euros.
What
is the best way to get from the airport to resort?
We can organise transfers from
the airport for all group sizes. If you are looking to rent
a car, then go to our travel
page for a direct link to a rental company!
Do
I need to bring my own towels and linen?
No. We provide linen and big fluffy towels.
Do
I need to pay tourist tax?
No, we cover all local tourist taxes!
Do
I need to bring a photo for my lift pass?
You only have to bring a photo if you need a lift pass for
more than 6 days.
Can I book
my lift pass in advance?
Yes. Save time at the lift office by getting in touch with
us, and well have your lift pass ready for you when
you get here. These must be paid for on arrival at the chalet.
Where
can I get internet access from?
We have a broadband wireless network in operation at the chalet.
If you have a wireless laptop capable of accessing the internet
then you are welcome to use it.
Where
are the best places to go out to at night?
There are a number of bars to
go to in Morzine. The Cavern bar is lively and good for a
cheesy night out. Upstairs in the Buddha Café
there are nice leather sofas to relax on and more easy music
to listen to. Then there is the Dixie Bar which plays all
sporting events on satellite tv and has the nice feeling of
an English pub! Whatever you like, there is something for
everyone!
We offer a late night in-resort minibus service for 5 nights
of your stay.
How
do I get to and from the slopes?
We will take you all to the slopes after you have finished
breakfast in the morning. We will also pick you up after your
days skiing and bring you back to the chalet for afternoon
tea..
What
time is breakfast?
Breakfast is served between 07:30 09:30.
What
time is dinner?
Evening meals are served at around 8pm, giving you time to
have a rest after a day on the hill, or sample the local bars
for a spot of après ski.
Kids meals are generally served at 6pm.
