StarSki Chalets and ROXY have teamed up to create the ultimate in girls only snowboard camps hosted by UK ROXY Pro Riders and ROXY ambassador Tammy Esten of the reputable Mint Snowboard School. Together we've created a programme to allow for female snowboarders to enjoy a perfectly tailored snowboard holiday with the aim of progressing their riding to the next level. Our aim is simple - improvement and relaxation in style and comfort.

The ROXY Snow Camps have been designed specifically for girls who'd like to improve their snowboarding in an environment that provides everything they need for a thoroughly enjoyable week in the snowy mountains. Not only will you receive expert tuition with our Roxy Pro Rider and Tammy Esten of Mint Snowboarding in a girls only group, but also you'll get pampered and entertained throughout a week of ultimate luxury. This totally new concept in snowboarding will help all our ROXY Girls to step up a level and match anyone for speed, technique and ability. Whilst we know that the main aim remains to improve your snowboarding we've also designed a programme for the week so you can enjoy your time off the slopes.

The Snowboarding

On-piste, off-piste, in the park - you decide. If you're looking for powder in abundance, and some of the best tree and off-piste boarding around, then you've come to the right place. With varying terrain to suit all abilities; from leisurely tree lined slopes to technical black runs, to expansive off-piste, there will be plenty to indulge your snow-fuelled ambitions in the Portes du Soleil ski area. You will be spoilt for choice in in the parks with 2 half-pipes, the Stash and numerous parks suitable for all levels. Our main aim for the week is to create the perfect environment that boosts confidence and allows you to improve as a snowboarder.

Our week long camp includes 6 days of tuition with Mint Snowboarding, where they'll cover all aspects of snowboard improvement - technical concepts, technique adaption through different terrain, park riding (including pipe, kickers and rails) and for the more adventerous, off-piste. As well as the days we've set aside an evening for technical discussion and video playback (with a Gin&Tonic in hand!). Camps are small and so there's plenty of time to concentrate on improving your technique and style. During the week you'll also be riding with some of the other girls from the ROXY pro-team. This will really help to inspire you to see what you can achieve.

Toward the end of your ROXY Snow Camp holiday we'll be having a fun afternoon with a photographer. All photos will be put onto CD for you to take home - you'll get that perfect shot coming off a kicker or spraying powder.

Due to the nature of group snowboarding it is important that snowboarders are at an intermediate level, e.g. happy on reds, min of 3/4 weeks experience, linking turns competently.

All of our lead coaches on the mountain are English speaking and fully qualified and insured to teach in France. Remember: We're insured so you are!

The Pampering & The Entertainment

We are able to book a range of relaxing massage treatments for you at extra cost. This is a great aid to relaxation - remember that it's a holiday so you have to accept that pampering is all part of the week. If required we are also able to organise other beauty treatments such as aromatherapy, manicures, pedicures, facials, waxing and even St Tropez tanning.! The chalet also has a sauna and outdoor hottub where you can enjoy a cocktail whilst taking in the amazing alpine views each evening!

• Snow film screenings
• Wine and Cheese evening - sampling a range of wines and cheeses from France, with tasting notes.

We also have a champagne reception along with ROXY gift bags for all of our girls upon arrival.

The Accommodation & Food

A holiday wouldn't be a holiday without luxurious accommodation. All your rooms are ensuite and include such luxuries as crisp white linen, spa fluffy towels, dressing gowns, slippers and Molton Brown products. The chalets are brand new and have been designed with style and comfort in mind. An outdoor hottub, sauna, real log fire, free WiFi and your own private bar adds the finishing touches to the perfect luxury boutique chalet. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day ! We serve a hot option each day which ranges from smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, to pancakes with fruit and maple syrup to eggs benedict. Along with this there is a delightful array of options including; yoghurts, energy smoothies, fresh fruit, fresh French pastries and breads, cereals and fruit juices.

Afternoon tea is served to you when you return to the chalet at the end of each day. Freshly baked cakes, hot chocolate, tea/coffee and fruit juices are available.

Your dining experience will be one of sumptuous delight each evening. A superb four course meal along with carefully selected French wines will be served at the beautiful candlelit dining table. After supper you can move to the open plan comfort area and relax in front of the warming fire with fresh coffee and chocolates.
