No more queues, long walks with heavy gear or wasted time. At star ski chalets we believe your ski or snowboard holiday should be as hassle free as possible, so this year we'll be providing an in-chalet ski fitting service. When you book your ski or snowboard holiday you'll have the opportunity to pre-order all of your rental gear which will then be dlivered directly at the chalet upon your arrival. A 'DoorStep Ski' technician will bring all of the gear into the chalet and will personally fit each of our guests with the perfect equipment.

This great innovative service allows you to relax in the chalet without the need to brave the elements or the busy ski shops! Sit back (maybe with a G&T), start enjoying your holiday and let us do the running about.

Ski Equipment Hire

With over 500 premier quality skis to choose from, we will make sure you are provided with the right type of equipment for your ability and experience.

There is a huge range of the latest ski equipment available. From beginner to expert, cruiser to freestyler, we've got the ideal equipment for you. All of the equipment supplied is fully serviced before you get it, and of premier quality. If you are looking for something specific, use the suppliers links below to see what is available this season. If what you want is not there, then we can provide expert information about choosing the right type of gear - to suit you, your standard and the local conditions

Choose the latest equipment from Atomic, Rossignol, Salomon and Head. Snowboards from Nitro, Rossignol and Option.

We can also provide children's helmets and for the non-skier's there are snow shoes and sledges available for hire.

Snowboard Equipment Hire

All of our snowboard equipment is supplied by The Park in Morzine and is 100% Burton. We are able to get you the perfect board for your style of riding or ability. The can provide the more advanced and specialist rental boards: advanced riders can take out a Burton Air, a great all-round board, similar to the Burton Custom. We can also provide the Burton Dominant – a true twin tip park board, and Burton Mission Bindings. (see below for pictures of equipment)

As well as the more advanced boards we are also able to offer the full range of Burton rental equipment, with learn-to-ride boards for beginners, designed to make the first few days on snow as enjoyable as possible. Intermediates can try the Cruzer, the best choice for quick progression on all types of terrain. Our bindings have a tool-free adjustment system, are easy to use, a comfortable without compromising on quality.

There is also a full range of womens’ and childrens’ specific equipment, wristguards and helmets. All boots are fully dried and disinfected between uses. Boards are fully serviced between uses.

Repairs

If your bringing your own equipment out to the resort, why not have it serviced and tuned by Doorstep Skis. Providing an overnight tuning service they will collect your equipment from your accommodation and have it returned to you before the following days skiing.
