Your holiday will feel like it's truly started upon arrival at our chalet where you'll be greeted with champagne and canapes. You'll be individually shown to your beautiful en-suite room where you can unpack and get yourselves settled in. At a convenient time our Ski Technician will arrive and personally fit each of our guests with their ski or snowboard equipment - whilst you're waiting you're welcome to take a plunge in our luxuriously appointed outdoor spa pool or simply relax at the bar and enjoy a cocktail.

The Food and The Service

We will serve you amazing local specialities along with other specially chosen menus. Our policy is to use local produce wherever possible and to make sure that the superb food served to you is a memorable part of your holiday. Six nights of the week we will serve 4 courses along with a selection of fine wines. After dinner we will provide coffee and after dinner chocolates in the lounge where you can also enjoy a drink from our bar.

We will be delighted to phone you prior to your holiday to discuss any particular requirements. Please note we are happy to cater for any dietary requirements, but let us know well in advance of your arrival.

Breakfast each day will be a hearty feast that will allow you to fuel up in preparation for a good days skiing. We will serve: Tea, Coffee, Orange Juice, a few different items each day (e.g. bacon & eggs, sausage & tomatoes, mushrooms & hash browns, ham & cheese), fresh french pastries, yoghurts, toast, fresh french bread, porridge, fresh fruits, dried fruits and a selection of cereals.

Upon your return from your days skiing you will be welcomed by afternoon tea which you can take in front of the real log fire. You'll be able to relax with a cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate and a slice of cake. If you fancy something a little stronger then you could always enjoy a bit of apres ski and make use of the inchalet bar.!

For American ski vacations in europe we would be happy to create a very local menu allowing you to sample the delights of traditional Savoyard dishes and wines. If you would like this during your winter ski vacation in europe then please let us know.

Our bar is available to guests throughout the week and we are happy to create and serve your a range of delicious cocktails. We will also be stocking a huge range of fine whiskies and wines. Please note that drinks from the bar are charged extra and will need to be paid upon your departure.

Sunday to Sunday – less hassle and more fun!

We are offering Sunday-Sunday weekly holidays this year, as flights are becoming increasingly late and overpriced on Saturday due to heavy demand. Transfer times from the airport are also greatly reduced due to lack of traffic compared to Saturdays. This also means a perfect days skiing on your final Saturday as the mountain becomes extremely quiet whilst everyone else is travelling.

Free Ski Guiding

As part of your holiday, for those that can ski red runs and above, we offer 2 free half-days of guiding to show around the whole of the area if you have not skied in the Portes Du Soleil before. We will show you the best areas to ski away from the crowds and also show you the best mountain restaurants to enjoy a hearty lunch and glass of Vin Chaud.

If staying at Chalet Etoile Filante we will take you to the Ardent Bubble each morning (only 7 minutes away) which gives you direct access to the heart of the Portes du Soleil ski area. If staying at Chalet StarSki we will take you to either the Super Morzine Bubble or the Pleney Bubble (a couple of minutes away). We will also arrange to pick you up at the end of each day.

Please Note: As a general rule, ski guiding is only available to guests of an intermediate standard and above - please see the Ski School page for details of lessons for beginners. To comply with French regulations, ski guiding does not form part of your holiday, but is provided as a totally free service. We may withdraw the service at any time.
